Terms of Service

Last updated: August 24, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the DeckFlix website and services. By accessing our site or engaging us for a project, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our site or services.

1. Our services

DeckFlix provides presentation design services, including but not limited to deck redesigns, custom slide design, infographic slides, and presentation copywriting. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and price for a project are agreed with you directly — by email, contract, or invoice — before work begins, and that agreement governs the specifics of your project alongside these Terms.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to engage our services. If you use our site or services on behalf of a company, you confirm you have the authority to bind that company to these Terms.

3. Project workflow and revisions

Our typical process runs brief → narrative → design → delivery, as described on our site. Each confirmed project includes an agreed number of revision rounds; additional rounds beyond that scope may be billed separately. Timelines depend on how promptly you provide the content, feedback, and approvals we need from you.

4. Payment

Fees, payment schedule, and accepted payment methods are set out in your project quote or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed, an upfront deposit is required before work begins, with the balance due on delivery. Late payments may pause active work until resolved. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

5. Cancellations

You may cancel a project at any time by notifying us in writing. Deposits and fees for work already completed are non-refundable. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue a project — for example, for non-payment or a breach of these Terms — with a pro-rated refund for any undelivered, unstarted work.

6. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content, brand assets, and information you provide us. Once a project is paid in full, ownership of the final delivered files transfers to you. Until then, and for any underlying working files, templates, or design systems we use to produce your deliverables, DeckFlix retains ownership. We may display completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials unless you request otherwise in writing.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Our site and services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that a deck we design will achieve any particular business outcome, such as securing funding or closing a deal.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DeckFlix will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of our site or services. Our total liability for any claim relating to a project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold DeckFlix harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of our site or services.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which DeckFlix operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post any changes on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of our site or services after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
